I love the original Eating Healthy Homestyle and use it forever – but I always thought that the cakes and pastries have been the weak link in the cookbook. And unfortunately, this problem is amplified in this book. Cut too much fat and salt, while, and the taste and texture of the final products are really suffering. Most of her muffins and quick breads are rubbery or hard, or dense and moist, it replaced the last drop of oil or butter with applesauce. Furthermore, HH Sweets has many repetitions and repeat his first book. This low fat / no fat cook book makes a sweet dessert taste better than all the fat and calories. I give this book 2 thumbs up and highly suggest. Each recipe has a label that indicates the fat and calories of a party that is very useful. And ‘a must-have! Rating: 5 / 5

This book will surprise you completely. I know something about cooking, so I was convinced that the removal of some of the butter, oil, eggs, etc., would make many of these recipes sweet inedible. But then I bought this and tried some of these “Healthy Homestyle Desserts” After I bought another book Tribolo’s, STEALTH HEALTH. All I can say is she is a magician. It made me feel like a man, too! If you do not believe me, just take his Turtle Cookies Chocolate Pecan your next bake sale and the church shows the reaction. Rating: 5 / 5
