This is the best cookbook I’ve seen so far in Lebanon. Know how I know? My mother, the best Lebanese cook this side of the Atlantic who believe not in the books of Arab cuisine, took my so I had to buy another copy for me! Believe me, this is the ultimate form of approval! Rating: 5 / 5

This is a visually beautiful cookbook – a recipe per page, which I like. The recipes are excellent and are very similar to what the family of my husband (Lebanon), he said. However, we were surprised to see not a lamb, which is very popular in Lebanese cuisine. Rating: 4 / 5

“The Lebanese Kitchen: Quick & Healthy Recipes” showcases recipes from the culinary heritage of the writer Lebanese food, nutritionist, and healthy eating expert Monique Bassila Zaarour. Enhanced with color photographs of each finished dish, the mouth-watering, palate, pleasant, healthy body, instructive recipes range from toasted pine nuts, potato and egg salad, moussaka, baked artichokes and zucchini stuffed with meat pies , chicken and coriander; Moughrabieh (pasta shaped like a chicken pea) and fish fillet in the oven. “The cuisine of Lebanon is particularly suitable for the book collections of ethnic cuisine, in particular, and would be a welcome and much appreciated by more than personal, family, and community library collections Cookbook.
